AND NEVER MISS A NEW POST

It’s September and that means – apple season! Just putting an apple on your plate is pretty boring (even if delicious when sliced up and enjoyed with some walnut butter), so today we are going to present a recipe that we know a lot of you will love: Apple Cinnamon Protein Muffins.
We are going to take it even further by avoiding all the bad parts of normal muffins and only provide you with nutrient rich, healthy ingredients. As always the recipe comes with several benefits for you: NO gluten, NO grains, no crazy spikes in your blood sugar, rich in fats, and natural testosterone boosters. Sounds great, right? Well, these power muffins have it all.
But, let’s take it back for a second to the apples; apples by average only have 52 kcal (which makes them in moderation a perfect snack in comparison to a banana, which contains way more sugars), and they also come with a nice amount of vitamin C. On top of that is the glycemic index of an apple is in the same category as berries, which prevents your blood sugar levels to go on a roller coaster ride by going up and rushing faster down that you can say the word apple. This means that your energy level will stay mostly stable, even if you decide to have these muffins with your afternoon tea with friends at work.
Of course, we will also use eggs to provide your body with healthy fats and a nice amount of cholesterol and combine that with grass fed butter and a little bit of Greek yogurt (completely optional if you struggle with dairy).
Last but not least, we promised a testosterone booster, and if you have checked out other recipes we have already published – you know that we’re a big fan of cinnamon! Cinnamon is great because of its natural sweet taste but also because of its ability to push your testosterone production. But here’s the deal: in order for this to happen, you also need enough cholesterol on board. Here’s an extra tip: Make sure you have a high quality magnesium supplement that you take daily because this important mineral is necessary to produce testosterone out of cholesterol. So combine eggs, butter, cinnamon and magnesium together and you’ll have the perfect testosterone muscle-growing cocktail. This is a healthy snack, but remember, as tasty as they are, don’t just feed your body with these muffins 😉
Let’s dive into the recipe.
