Transform Your Body

By Shane YoungMarch 4, 2016

You’ll be amazed at how different you feel after you transform your body to a healthier fitter you. Starting a program of regular exercise and a healthy diet may have arrived from the need to shed a few pounds and get fitter, but it often becomes an adventure in a whole new lifestyle where you feel good about yourself and the world around you.

You’ll have more energy and want to become more active.

Exercising builds energy. You may not think it the first few weeks when you’ll go home feeling good, but really exhausted. You’ll start to notice you’re sleeping better at night and don’t feel the afternoon drowsies. After a few weeks, you’ll notice you don’t get winded walking up several flights of stairs and have energy to spare at the end of the work day for fun and adventure. You’ll be getting more done in less time and expanding your horizons.

You’ll build self esteem as soon as you start working out.

Studies show that people who start an exercise program feel better about themselves, even before they see results. Just knowing you’re doing something to make a change in your health can give you an emotional boost that helps you in other areas of your life. As you become fitter, your posture and demeanor will change to one that’s more confident.

As you see your goal come to life, you’ll find you can accomplish anything you set your mind to do.

Of course, this may not include raising unicorns, but it does include more mundane things, such as getting a promotion or tackling a new hobby. Learning how to set goals and create steps to reach those goals is an important lesson and one you can learn from a good exercise program. It not only builds physical strength, a successful program will help you build mental toughness, the ability to continue when others might have quit.

You’ll burn off the hormones created by stress and feel more relaxed. Just enjoying the wonderful feeling of relaxation can make you enjoy others and your surrounding more, changing your attitude.

Your body will create hormones that make you feel good, such as endorphins and dopamine. It will brighten your disposition as it lifts your spirits.

You’ll feel stronger and project a confident appearance, giving you less of a look of a victim that others might take manipulate. It gives you inner strength as well as outer strength.

You’ll learn how to stay healthier, more agile and have more endurance throughout the rest of your life.
