Can you feel the summer breeze? It’s almost May, and San Francisco is getting warmer every day! Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of summery promises on fitness social media. You know what I’m talking about- those too good to be true programs that promise you a six pack in 4 weeks. Of course, if you’ve ever tried out one of those fitness programs, you probably know that they don’t work. Crash diets and extreme workout programs have never, and will never, be effective or healthy. Anything good takes time. I know, we all wish that wasn’t the case, but slow and steady is the way to build good habits- and a chiseled core 😉
That said, abs are made in the kitchen. When we think of healthy eating, sorbet doesn’t usually come to mind. But with the weather getting hotter, it’s tempting to indulge in something delicious and decadent.
Good news, because this week I’ve developed a refreshing treat filled with minerals, vitamins and water. This healthy mango sorbet is super low calorie, simple to make, and healthy. Plus can also make it in less than 10 minutes (who wants to wait too long for dessert right? ;))
Here’s what you need:
1 mango cut in small pieces and frozen (alternatively, you can use 300 g of store bought frozen mangoes)
50 ml of filtered water
Optional: Some coconut flakes
