Cookies…omg yes! We all want them and we want them all. Cookies are delicious and, with Christmas coming up, they’re everywhere. We don’t have to tell you that cookies aren’t exactly the best choice nutrition-wise. You probably already know the problems with them: namely too much processed sugar and a whole lot of gluten from the wheat flour.
So is all hope for cookies lost? No! What would Christmas be without Santa’s favorite treat? Today, we’ll give you a healthier version of the holiday classic by slashing the processed sugars and cutting down the gluten. Easy peasy. So grab a baking sheet, spend time baking with your family, and fill your house with the smell of cookies! Always remember: You don’t have to give up all treats to be healthy. Especially around the holidays, you should indulge in some of the food you’re craving. But make sure to be fully aware while you’re eating.
